I have a few thoughts about last nights Presidential debate. First it was not a debate, it was a Democrat party rally with Trump in attendance. From the Harris/Waltz point of view it has to be viewed as a success. Kamala was not challenged or forced to answer anything of any substance. She was never fact checked on her continuous lying or asked about her complicity with covering up for the dementia patient we have as our current President. She lied about literally everything and reiterated the same old debunked dog whistles about Donald Trump. I found her voice to be very irritating and the glee with which she passionately campaigned for murdering the unborn was both ghoulish and sad and tells you all you need to know about today’s Democrat party.
As for the biased and corrupt moderators, they did their jobs. The media isn’t aligned with the Democrat party, they are the party. They were in charge both of the debate and Kamala. She was not allowed to wander and he wasn’t allowed to take a breath or get any momentum. It was predictable and shouldn’t have surprised anyone least of all Donald Trump.
As most of you know I am a Donald Trump supporter. I have seen the hand of God on his life and presidency and I follow God. This debate was something he was not well prepared for. It was a spiritual event with the demonic voices of God hatred spewing their lies and rage on a national platform. I regret I allowed that to even be heard in my home to be honest. In dealing with these kinds of spiritual attacks the only path forward is through humility. Unfortunately Trump took every hook and snare they threw at him and went down numerous rabbit trails and played defense the whole night. Every opportunity to widen the gap over Harris was missed.
In the final analysis I don’t think Trump lost any support. I am also not sure Harris picked any up as she was clearly playing to her base of angry white liberal women who’s most important issue is the freedom to kill their babies. That in itself speaks volumes of how bad her internal polling must be. This is not the time to have to shore up your base. You should be making a play for the undecideds and independents. Remember she has never won a primary in any state. She is untested and has never polled well until miraculously this summer.
We are in a spiritual battle for the soul of this nation and we took one on the chin last night. All is not lost however, and if God’s people pray and humble themselves we can see a turnaround. We should pray God turns Trumps head to focus on Him. We should pray he has humility and is himself (not mutually exclusive despite the medias spin). We should pray the demonic power that has been summoned by the child sacrifice of the left is broken and the spirit of witchcraft is defeated over this country. We are standing at the crossroads right now. While a Trump victory is only the starting point on retaking America and draining the deep state a Harris victory might well condemn us to decades of steep decline and pain.
In conclusion I will say that although I would rather have seen Trump dominate the debate and create the space in the polls this may have been allowed by the Lord. I was concerned by the amount of people confident he was going to mop the floor with her and over confidence is a dangerous thing. We need to have a sense of urgency and concern no matter if we are up or down in the polls. In the end this debate will be long forgotten by election day and other events will have taken its place. Take heart, pray and lets see what God is going to do!
Very insightful, Andrew.
I appreciate you!
