My good friend D.J. Snow was able to come on the show. We had a very wide ranging conversation covering conservation to where to eat in Terre Haute(although that part ends up in part two of the episode). We had a lot of difficulty with the video file on this one. Almost had to throw in the towel but Jimmy was able to split it into two and with some software processing seemed to fix the corrupted file.

Have you ever tried to talk truth to someone who seems determined not to see or understand? It can be one of the most frustrating things to experience. You can come to the conversation armed with facts, figures, antidotal examples and emotional appeals all to no avail. Regardless of your attempts at reason or persuasive argument the person seems wrapped in an invisible shield deflecting every vain attempt at reaching them. This is probably the best example I can give of what a demonic stronghold rooted in the mind or heart looks like and we are seeing this kind of phenomenon on a wide scale now.

I’m talking specifically about the insanity of hating the Jews. If ever a case could be made for mental illness being contagious then the rise of antisemitism would be exhibit a. We are seeing everything from ancient lies peddled as new conspiracies to seeing a Jew behind every world event we don’t agree with. Christians who rarely crack open their Bibles are suddenly experts in scripture regarding Israel and seemingly normal people who may not even personally know a Jew seethe with anger and hatred when the subject comes up. This is not a time for passiveness or apathy amongst the body of Christ on this subject.

I could fill pages working through the lies, half truths and outright goofy beliefs being peddled right now that have to do with Israel and the Jewish people but so many others have done a tremendous job of effectively debunking the lies that I would waste your time rehashing their work. What I would like to do here is make several points that are backed up in scripture and history.

1. God is not finished with the Jewish people and the revival of the nation of Israel after 2,000 years is a huge sign of this.

2. Saying you don’t hate the Jews but you disagree with Israel politically because they fight for their survival against maniacs proves otherwise. God personally deals with Israel. Trust me, if they are doing something wrong He will deal with it. God doesn’t need your expert opinion on Palestine, lobbying groups, Iran war or the like. Maybe just stay in your lane and worry about your own failings huh?

3. Christians who are outraged at dual citizenship amongst lawmakers are embarrassing themselves. It is less of a conflict than Christians being in political office who are supposed to be firstly citizens of heaven. Israel and the United States are forever entwined and connected. It was a Jewish man, Haym Salomon who by great personal sacrifice bankrolled the revolution and many founding fathers. We would not exist with out him.

4. Replacement theology is evil and a false doctrine at least as it is widely interpreted. It implies God has lied or told half truths to the Jewish people about their destiny and purpose. It arrogantly exalts the Church into roles and positions it does not hold and takes promises not ours. It deceives believers into actively fighting the God they say they serve. God has not thrown the Jews away for forever. He still loves them and has a destiny for them as Romans chapter 11 talks about.

5. The Jews in Israel are the real Jews. Can’t even believe this needs said.

6. Those who love and bless the Jews will be blessed and those that hate and curse the Jews will be cursed. This is an enduring promise from God that is also born out by 3,500 years of history. People are largely ignorant of history and that is sad.

7. We as gentile Christians are living in the waning days of the time of the gentiles as Paul the apostle foretold. The day is soon coming when the veil on the eyes of the Jewish people will be lifted. When that day comes I believe two things will occur. First a tremendous amount of Jewish people will believe in Jesus as their Messiah and second we will see an even bigger rise of anti semitism in the main line Church as the full onset of religious jealously bears its awful fruit. Listen, the Jews turning to Christ really will happen and it won’t be because you accused them of awful things, it will be because they are loved into the kingdom. How is it that Christians are justifying hatred for an entire people group that God sent His son to save? What hard hearts!

8. The rise of a strong delusion of hating the Jews and rejecting truth was foretold. It is a sign that we are fast approaching Gods end time plan for the nation of Israel and the world. Paul says this restoration of Israel will be life from the dead for all of the world. We will be blessed through Israel turning to the Lord.

9. Nothing is a greater danger to our country than hating the Jews, nothing. Every nation that comes against the Jewish people is diminished.

The biggest factor I have personally witnessed in folks falling into deception concerning Israel is a real lack of closeness with the Holy Spirit. Those who keep an intimate walk with God sense and show the love God has for all people including the Jewish people. Those who know the Lord intimately and spend time daily hearing from Him and reading His Word are not easily entangled in the foolishness of seeing a Jew behind every war, every trouble and every rock. I have also noticed that most of the new growth in anti semitism lately comes from those who are the most uninformed people I know. They don’t know their Bible, are ignorant of history and are easily fooled.

My hope in writing this article is two fold. First it is a call to prayer for the Church. We are called to battle arguments and strongholds of the mind that come against the knowledge of God. It is our duty and our mandate to bind the demonic hoards of anti-semitism in the name of Jesus (a Jew btw). If Satan wants to do something on the earth then naturally we the Church should be about stopping it. Jesus went about doing good and destroying all the works of the devil the Bible says. Second it is to warn the unaware or those who have not been paying attention. Please understand that the devil is sly and sneaky. He will convince you of conspiracies and plots, of lobbying groups and dual citizenships that are going to sink us all. Stop believing lies. Start embracing Jesus who is truth. Ask God to remove deception from your heart and mind. Its time to wake up, call out this garbage and walk in truth.

I know I haven’t posted much and I know the podcasts have not been as frequent but Jimmy and I still enjoy doing them . As for posting, the political scene has been one land mine after another in my opinion. Sometimes when things get so contentious and I get weighed down by the corruption and good old boy networks I tend to say less and pray more. I truly believe we can do more good sometimes on our knees than weighing in on every single issue of the day.

I will say this one thing that isn’t in the podcast. As Christians we should be praying more for our leaders. Governor Braun could use our prayers. Our sheriffs, school boards and county councils could use our prayers. No one benefits when our leaders make bad decisions or are influenced to do things they shouldn’t. If you see corruption, pray God removes it. If we pray in love and with faith God will act and I believe He wants to do just that.

I’ve learned a few things over the years in sales and customer service. I started work in the late 80’s (now I’m dating myself ha!)as a paper boy and moved on to work as a copier technician in my dads business. I learned about listening and being patient as well as keeping things simple in order to reach solutions to problems. I also gained an appreciation for why profit is so important. My dad was loved by his customers. He had a flaw though in that he hated to charge for his work. This lead to a busy business that couldn’t support it’s employees or expand. I learned then the importance of the win-win sales concept. It has to work for both parties in order to be sustainable. My dads great service eventually was unavailable in the marketplace due to this issue.

I worked for sixteen years as a Territory manager for a great coffee company and learned how to be efficient, consistent and build relationships. I really appreciated their high standards and felt a sense of pride delivering the best product to my customers. We were also never the cheapest but we never lost a taste test! I learned a great deal about adding value and expanding sales within existing clients. I had a few humbling experiences as a younger man in that role that were painful at the time but were invaluable growing opportunities.

I’m wrapping up ten years at Tabco next month and I continue to have to learn and grow as a person. A career in sales can be really hard yet really rewarding. I have had to learn not to be devastated when I lose clients. Especially if there is nothing I can do to keep them. Sometimes your best efforts fall short. Keep going, keep being consistent and keep giving good service. It will pay off in the end.

My greatest asset(or greatest liability) is myself. Your greatest asset is yourself. Character and integrity, honesty and transparency matter. Think of your work as a garden or in my case a forest. It takes effort to plant the trees or seeds but the real work takes time. Time to water, nurture and wait(that part is hard!). If you are patient and consistent good things will follow.

First I can’t help but see that mainstream “Church”, cool hip pastors of mega churches, Gospel coalition disciples(i.e. Tim Keller and the “third way”) and many many ministry heads were exposed on Sunday as frauds and peddlers of compromise.(they just don’t know it yet) (2) God is clearly causing the gospel to be preached from the political arena. I heard a clearer message of repentance and what Christ accomplished on the cross and our appropriate response from politicians than America has heard from her many pastors. America is being discipled back to God from the highest offices in the land. (3) Politics is a major battlefield that has been neglected terribly by mainstream Christianity and that just won’t do anymore. (4) The gospel as well as the truth of God’s word is offensive and does two things, first it causes those who see the light to find freedom, and second it causes those who hate the light to lash out in rage and anger. Jesus came to bring a sword and it’s time the Church picked it back up.(5) Our modern preachers have by and large caused none of these reactions. Hell is not threatened by a large portion of the prominent voices of the American Church. If your pastor or Church failed during covid, compromised during BLM, and silent or wrong about Charlie Kirk you need a new Church.(6) God is once again moving supernaturally in a way and in an arena that the old move of God will reject or persecute. The biggest obstacle to what God is doing is going to be the Church, or the religious I should say.(6) God is not done with America. Do not write our obituary yet. Theology that says all nations will be evil when Christ comes back needs to change. There will be sheep and goat nations, and our time to choose what we will be is now.

Erika Kirk needs our prayers. She has been thrust into a fire of tremendous testing and she will emerge as a strong leader in this movement. I have no doubt God has raised her up for this time. We are going to see a lot of leaders raised up out of this and I’m excited to see it. The generation influenced by Charlie Kirk and his message will one day soon take our pulpits(thank God!) and fill our elected offices. We are at the beginning stages of a major reformation. I am so thankful to be alive during this time.

Speaking of those influenced by Charlie Kirk. Jimmy and I sat down with Anthony Rubinacci and although this was before the memorial service it was after the horrible events of Sept 10th. Anthony is one of those who has been heavily influenced by Charlie and very active politically. He has a very bright future and before he got too famous I wanted to have him on the podcast!

I received a text about 15 minutes after Charlie was shot and immediately went to prayer. Like so many I wept and prayed and begged God to spare his life. I believe in a God of miracles but God had other plans. Charlie leaves behind a wife and two very young kids who will grow up without their dad.

So many people have been saying and posting really eloquent things about Charlie and I am not trying to compete with any of that. Vice President Vance wrote about his relationship with Charlie and it’s amazing and worth the read. I am posting because I want to honor in my small way the life Charlie led and the legacy he has left behind.

Do you realize he was doing what God had commissioned him to do up until the very moment an assassin took his life? What an incredible thing that is. Only 31 years old and yet he accomplished more than most do in a lifetime. I know many are justifiably angry but I am just sad, very sad. He is with Christ hearing well done good and faithful servant but we mourn for his wife, his children, his parents and loved ones and all those who loved him and whose lives he touched.

We resolve that he will not have died in vain. The movement he birthed will grow exponentially from here and I believe God will raise up countless more Charlies to take his place. I am convicted to be more bold, more courageous, more in love with Jesus because of this and I don’t think I am alone. There will be time to dissect where we go from here and the dealing with left wing violence that has to have a reckoning but, not even 24 hours from his tragic death, we mourn. Rest in peace Charlie and thank you for what you did and the world you impacted for Christ.

We touched briefly on this subject in the episode but I thought it bore repeating, we are seeing a substantial generational shift towards returning to God. It may not come like we have pictured but revival and societal renewal is happening and I want to be a part of it. I think mainstream Churches are benefiting and will continue to benefit but have largely not been responsible for what is happening. The high school to college aged kids are turning to truth in droves and have been rejecting the liberal nonsense of their parents generation. It would have been nice if the Church had helped this along by standing up to woke madness but sadly that has by and large not been the case. The Church will continue to be pushed along to pursue truth and that is an amazing thing to see!

Memorial Day is always a good time to relax, enjoy family time and reflect on the freedoms and prosperity we enjoy in this great nation. It cost lives and it’s those lives laid down for love of country that we honor and remember. I hope each one of you enjoyed the holiday and was able to connect with loved ones. Jimmy and I with our family’s spent part of Memorial Day at our local Rural King watching some guy break a world record in popcorn eating. It was something to see let me tell you lol. I think he ate 38 12oz servings in 8 minutes. Super nice guy who stayed around to take pictures long after the event was over.

So like so many of you I received my latest property tax assessment form in the mail this week and saw a little over a 20% increase year over year. Social media has blown up over what so many are seeing in their mailboxes and apparently the local Assessors office is getting the brunt of the blowback.

I’m just going to come out and say a few things.

First this is not on the Assessor, County Commissioners, County or City council. There are avenues to appeal your assessment if the value is higher than market value which I’m guessing most are not. The Assessor is doing his job. The object of your wrath belongs elsewhere.

First let me say I hate property taxes as a principle. They are unfair, confiscatory, on unrealized gains and never ending. They are as un-American as you can get in my opinion. The idea that you never really own your own home or property because in theory the government can tax you out of ownership is horrible. I don’t want to hear any excuses or arguments for property tax unless it’s a one time fee.

Second the Indiana General Assembly(your elected state representatives) knew full well this was coming and did absolutely nothing about it. In fact they did worse than that. They did what they always do when forced into an issue they don’t want to deal with. They made some noise and put together a legislative crap sandwich they called property tax relief and praised themselves for addressing the issue. They in fact made the situation worse because they didn’t effectively cut property taxes and they opened the door for local income tax increases.

Our Democrat mayor bears some blame as well as he joined with basically every local government official in Indiana who went to the statehouse to testify that if we cut property taxes they would have to cut fire and police protection. A typical and pathetic political ploy that has been sounded so often it’s like a broken record. Also it’s assuming government can never in any way at any time actually cut spending on stupid things to prioritize essential services. We as taxpayers have to do that with our family budget but don’t ever ask the government to pinch pennies or make cuts. God forbid!

The bottom line is that the Statehouse knew this was on it’s way and did nothing to help. In fairness the public was not fully engaged and didn’t realize what was coming so the pressure to do real property tax reform just wasn’t there. If it wasn’t for the heavy lifting being done by Rob Kendall of the Kendall and Casey show(top morning news and talk show in Indy) along with Lieutenant Gov Micah Beckwith there wouldn’t have been ANY addressing of this important issue.

I don’t even recognize the Republican party anymore. We used to campaign on and be known by cutting taxes and limiting the size of government. What a joke! We just raised taxes on tobacco in the latest budget after raising gas taxes several years ago and are apparently fine with this massive tax hike on homeowners. While I’m on that subject. What in the world ever happen to understanding supply side economics??? Do they know that when taxes are cut in effective and permanent ways on producers that tax revenues increase not decrease? Free enterprise is not a zero sum game. Ours is a dynamic economy where we can all “win”. Just because someone makes a dollar does not mean someone else loses a dollar. Just because a tax is cut does not mean it has to be “paid for” elsewhere! I feel like half these politicians need to go back to school. Anyway that is what is means to be a Reagan conservative like so many of these folks claim to be.

Governor Braun missed a huge political opportunity. Do you realize where he would be politically right now If he had vetoed the property tax bill like his Lieutenant Governor suggested and the base wanted? The legislature would still be in the midst of revising the bill when the new assessments would have hit. Governor Braun would have had all the political leverage he needed to get real property tax reform done. His approval would have soared and he would have been seen as the hero. Instead he became a part of the problem. This was a self inflicted wound that will only get worse if something isn’t done to lower the tax burden on property owners.

Jimmy and I had the privilege to sit down recently with Pastor Jeremy Touchet as he shares his testimony and the ministry that is Teen Challenge.

I don’t think it’s any secret that we are in a serious crisis today when it comes to drug and alcohol abuse. It is tearing apart families and destroying lives. Is there any real hope to see the cycle broken? In this episode we talk about seeing success in the lives of men in the Terre Haute community and the good work being done by Teen Challenge. Is it just me or has life been crazy busy? Anyway we have a good time chatting as usual and I hope we recorded an informative and fun episode. The Elon Musk factor is a particularly intriguing aspect of what Trump is accomplishing. It is in effect a CEO type approach to the bloat, corruption, failure and wrong direction our government has had for many many decades. Full scale audits of transactions and systems as well as a full analysis of employee function and value are taking place. This has been desperately needed in so many ways and now thanks to Trump it is happening. What Musk is accomplishing is not just for the short term exposure and correction needed but will have lasting effects long after the Trump administration is done. We have desperately needed this.

I don’t believe that we have ever had in American history such a course altering period for the better. Certainly no President in modern history has been able to be as effective at accomplishing the stated goals of the Republican Party or their own campaign promises. For years I have heard leaders in the Republican Party talk a good talk but I can’t say that any real action or change ever took place to back up their words. I’m including all our Congressmen and Senators as well as Presidents. It is the primary reason I believe that disillusionment with the Republican Party and the overall cynicism towards the government and politicians has been so prevalent. Voter apathy prior to Trump was at an all time high and who could blame them?

So where is God in all of this? This is always my question and you will always hear my opinion from this perspective. Fully two years ago(maybe longer?) I began to perceive that God was assembling His own team of world changers and that this was evidence to me that God was not finished with America. I cannot say I was 100% confident of a Trump win but I can say I was sure that God had and still does have a good plan for America. The level of God’s mercy towards us has truly shocked and amazed me. We did not deserve to be saved, rescued or preserved and yet here we are.

This refined, revised, strengthened and frankly on fire Trump has been made possible by the trials and persecutions of the past 4 years. Dark times that sometimes seemed hopeless were in fact used by God to mold and refine Trump into His weapon of deliverance. The patient and hopeful have been rewarded. The return of the king has been everything we could have asked for and more.

Well as I’m writing this we are homebound due to snow. I was hoping for the 12” to 18” that was projected as a possibility at one point until the forecasters calmed down lol. I think we are dealing with around 8” when all is said and done. Hope everyone is reading this is warm, safe and well. I think the kids and I will attempt some sledding later today.

Jimmy and I sat down and recorded our 36th episode recently and had so many topics it was hard to cover them all. I have never been one to sugar coat or hold back on my opinions and I don’t in this latest episode either. We discuss the legacy of Jimmy Carter, ARPA funds and more and I hope you find it entertaining and informative.

I wanted to take a moment to wish a very Merry Christmas to all my subscribers and friends! It’s also a good time to tell you how much I appreciate all of you. Thank you for watching, sharing and commenting on the content I have put out this year. We have seen some crazy things happen this past year for sure!

Christmas at the McNeil house has always been a special time. We have a tradition on Christmas Eve going back to when our oldest children were young(over 25 years ago!) of taking them to a special restaurant where they could order anything they wanted and movie at a theater afterwards. That is not a cheap tradition believe me and would never have been started if not for a generous relative of Andrea’s who made it possible in the early years. Of course dear old Dad had to take over eventually to make sure it stayed alive lol. We have had tight years but God has always provided one way or another. Over the years we have had some really fun times and special memories. Of course Christmas morning with Andrea’s special monkey bread and my hot chocolate for breakfast(talk about a sugar rush!) followed by presents is a mainstay. No presents until we read the Christmas story and thank the Lord for coming to earth, the greatest gift ever!

My prayer for you as you read this is that you will know the depth of the love God has for you. Right where you are, even if in sorrow or pain, He is Emmanuel, God with us. I pray that you will be blessed to overflowing in the New Year. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

In this latest episode Jimmy and I bring back our wives to the show to discuss the importance of hearing God for yourself and what does that look like? It has surprised me over the years to discover whole Christian denominations teach that we can’t hear the voice of God or that He spoke through the Bible and that’s all we get. One of the most important “secret weapons” a believer has is their personal walk with God and the oftentimes quiet instruction and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

I know this is a bit of a departure from what we have done in the past and a break from politics. Some will be glad for this and some will not ha! For me this was a subject matter that has been on my heart for some time and I couldn’t get past the prompting to cover it in a podcast. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed getting together and having this conversation.

Good day to everyone!

What a night and what a win! So many good things happened on election night and there is a million different angles we could discuss. Jimmy and I try to touch on a few with our latest podcast recorded last night.

Let me just say I am so thankful to God that He spared the United States from what very well could have been irreparable damage. We experienced mercy on election night. I pray now that we do not squander this opportunity to effect generational change. For the record I have great faith that we will not waste this gift.

If you go back and look at some of my blog posts from two years ago you will see I was sensing God was not finished with us yet. Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson and many others were being raised up and now we are seeing not one man but an army of reformers. God is going to save us. When we couldn’t save ourselves He is stepping in to bring us deliverers just like he did for Israel in the Old Testament. They may be Samsons or Jephthahs or Jehu’s, all with their glaring flaws but they are deliverers nonetheless.

We talk about a graph in the podcast and I wanted to include it here in this email. It’s really hard not to look at the graphic below and not see once again that massive fraud took place in 2020. We must insure we never allow this to occur again.
